gays have "the ability to be perceived as straight" in the same way you have "the ability to be perceived as gay".

all they have to do is stop acting so queer and pushing their lifestyle in our faces, right?

your comment tries very hard to avoid saying its a personal choice but it's pretty hard to see how that isn't what you're actually saying. it's less offensive to refuse services because it's just the way someone is behaving as opposed to who they actually are.
