Depth is a huge problem in college basketball because some refs are seemingly on a mission to blow the whistle as much as possible for the first 35 mins a game. I almost never see a college game anymore where 2 or 3 key players arent in foul trouble. NBA refs make some bad calls too but you dont see the whistle happiness resulting in 1/2 the teams in foul trouble 1/2 way through the game.
