I knew that going in but I just figured there was nothing else in the race. And having watched Shug's horse circle the field, I was hoping for a closers' track. But that horse just crushed them.

agreed. rosario closed from even further out today in race 4 with an infinitely better horse and also against better horses. thought the younger horses would have a faster pace and then the 7 would close at the end. did not help that the 8 was almost on top of him.
