TV no doubt!! Ther is no place to watch a race and take notes like your own living room. I just can't take the track rats anymore. I mean I have a blast at lansdon's suite at CD or at Steve's BBQ stand at Saratoga. But the rest of the year I want to be in my house, near a computer, in comfort without imbeciles around me. I have this DVR setup through my cable company that allows me to digitally record the races off the tv. Im able to go back and check trip and bias notes etc. Im also able to tape races shown through brisbet.com on my computer on my hard druve thanks to my techno genius bro in law who set that up for me. Its a huge aid. And if I want water its free, not 4 bucks a bottle. If I wanna eat I can make something in my kitchen and its not 12 bucks for a burger.
When i was younger I was more social and liked the otb/track atmosphere, not anymore. Steves stand is great because its an idiot free zone and you can dress and act casually and not be bothered by guys telling you they "heard" that so and so was gonna win the next race. Technology has made suffering through rtaces next to idiots in close quarters obsolete.
