Dogs vomit all the time, that wouldn't worry me unless you see blood in the vomit...I'd also look for mucus and/or worms, mucus could mean something more serious, worms would mean...well, worms! Some worms can be dangerous even deadly so they require immediate attention. What may concern me more would be the barking/crying throughout the night...they can't talk to us but often times such behavior means pain or discomfort of some sort! I'd check the vomit for above, monitor any fecal discharge for the same things and give pepto...but if symptoms continue, especially in an older doggie, I wouldn't wait too long to call the vet!
