5/26: Hollywood Park ($114k P6 C/O; $22k Hi-5 C/O)
Wild Saturday at Churchill, Arlington & Hollywood left trail carryover sequences into Sunday including a $33k P5 pot at Chicago and $114k P6/$22k Hi-5 pools at Inglewood. Churchill saw monster price winners from nearly the start to the DQ put up finish with 27-1, 66-1, 16-1, 13-1 and 22-1 victors lighting the tote. At AP, the three stakes went to $19 Imposing Grace, $18 Hogy and $28 General Election, with $70 and $75 winners involved around the late action as well.
Hope some were able to feather in some of the big numbers on the day. I reached for plenty of prices throughout the afternoon and some ran well, but the results were dismal. Hollywood sequence looks best on the day in an attempt to break a bad spell that started with the MD Sprint Handicap last weekend..
