I disagree. I obviously don't know the exact reason, but the horse has won before over off ground, and a G1 to boot (going 12 furlongs). Unless someone was wrong with him, there should have been no reason for the scratch
If the horse has shown to hate off ground, I would have completely understood and agreed, but this seems like they knew at 9 furlongs they were gonna get drilled by Wise Dan so took their ball and went home (and then won the Derby
