SoCal Thoroughbred Rescue:
Very sad news this morning. Irish Katie, a 1997 mare, who we rescued in 2009 from a feedlot emaciated and abused and who made a remarkable recovery, was humanely euthanized by our veterinarian due to a severe colic. Rest in Peace, sweet Katie.
