I mean, the 13th best regular season team wins the World Series? Geez. I wonder if anyone with the 13th best record has even won in the joke of a system the NHL and NBA uses. I mean, 16 teams go to the playoffs in those leagues, but it would be interesting to see if any team in either of those leagues ever finished with the 13th best record in the league and won it all.
