Absolutely not. That number is laughably high even if all the track decide to shut down and horse racing suddenly ceases to exist anywhere anymore in Canada.

I've been studying the cards of the Canadian tracks lately -- even at the shabbiest tracks in Western Canada -- a lot of those horses could certainly compete at places like Emerald Downs and Turf Paradise -- and Portland Meadows is actually a cut below.

Cheap horses at Fort Erie win in West Va every winter...and there are more than a few places in the East and Mid-Atlantic where the racing is clearly below the quality of Wva's racing.

Any horse who is free of injury and competitive in Canada even at the lowest of levels -- would also be competitive if placed at the right tracks here.
