Peter, you probably have the greatest signature in Message board history.
If you're a good handicapper, the key is to not let the cold streak send your handicapping and betting on tilt. You could put yourself on tilt if it makes you feel better emotionally -- but if that seeps into your handicapping and especially your betting, it's probably going to get worse.
If you could go to a dice table and get 11/1 odds on a Hard 8 (believe me, you can't) -- you'd have some wicked long losing streaks that would drive the sanest man nuts -- but guess what, you will win over time no matter what.
A lot of people who aren't very good handicappers and bettors will have streaky runs where they dominate for stretches and make good money almost day after day. They will favor whatever methods they used in the streak of good fortune and that won't last for them.
