I don't really think it matters because they were all running for second. Nobody was beating the #2.
But Maragh's more curious move was going a bit early and trying to split horses versus being a bit more patient and then shooting up the rail which opened up. I didn't have him so it doesn't matter, but I just think that's he's not that good a jockey.
