As you may be aware, the New York Racing Association operated from September 15, 2010 to December 18, 2011 with incorrect takeout rates for their Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick 3, Pick 4 and Grand Slam pools. These incorrect takeout rates resulted in incorrect payoffs for these wagers.
Since learning about NYRA’s incorrect takeout rates, we have been working with United Tote to recalculate payoffs on 284,974 wagers for the 22,574 TwinSpires.com players impacted.
According to our detailed account history, your payoffs would have been higher if NYRA had the correct takeout rates in place. In order to correct this issue, we have made a positive adjustment to your TwinSpires.com account. Simply log on to TwinSpires.com, visit the “Manage My Account” section and run a “Detailed Account History” report for Monday, June 4, 2012, to see your positive adjustment.
