I watch TVG every day.
dvr everything from 12PM ET until they go off the air.
I have every hour of weekend Trackside Live on dvd from the months of March to November from the past 2 years.
I have NO idea how anyone can come to the conclusion that Todd T Schrupp is a good or intellectual handicapper.
the one positive thing I can say about him is that he puts his picks out there for everyone to see, but they are less than insightful.
Frank is not on near as much as Todd but this is one of the guys who said Afleet Alex simply did not "stay" 2 turns at Oaklawn Park.
I have little use for his analysis and he is not the turf expert that TVG makes him out to be.
Caruthers is an excellent speed handicapper.
Mr B is very good on the west coast.
Vic Stauffer provides some of the most insightful analysis and is very good at pointing out and explaining class moves(up and down).
the Quarters guys are great at what they do. its a different sport, but they are great at it.
Rich Perloff is a different kind of guy with some real "out there" ways of picking horses, but he hits prices and I love the way he structures pick 3s and pick 4s based on his unique strengths as a handicapper.
Schrupp is not near the analyst that Nancy Yure(sp?) is.
or Chris K for that matter.
how in the hell Schrupp was ever Calder Race Course's "expert handicapper" is one of the great mysteries of the world.
ranks right up there with the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
