I don't get TVg here(its not on our cable system) so I rarely if ever see it, only when I go to Kentucky for the BC or Derby. I read a lot of posts about TVG and the personalities here and just skip over them. On Wednesday though, the two of em came into Lansdon's suite(Lyons is a friend of Lans) and hung out for an hour and watched a couple races and had a drink(where they broadcast at CD is right down the hall from Lans suite). Saw em the rest of the week as well. They were absolutely two of the best folks I've met at the track ever.
Both are funny guys, and very smart, and very passionate about the game.
I don't get to see them on TV much, but anyone who knocks these guys hasn't met em, they are top notch.
Most of those guys are really nice guys. I have met Frank, Gary Seibel, Iggy, and some of the others. They are all great guys.

There was a big race last year where one of our horses grabbed a quarter really bad at the break. She stumbled so badly that the jock lost his irons and had to pull her up. I ran down to the track to see if she was alright. Her foot was all bleeding. The wound was pretty much just superficial but I didn't know that at the time. All I could see was alot of blood. It was one of the worst days of my life. I was literally practically crying. Anyway, Frank came up to me and said how sorry he was about what happened. I thought it was really nice of him because he didn't have to come up to me. I don't know him very well. I had only met him once or twice. He's just a really nice guy.
