The track was very kind to inside speed. Master Command broke from the rail and as the only real speed set a leisurely pace. That model of consistent mediocrity, Andromeda's Hero, made a sustained premature move to reach the front as they turned for home, and Master Command held him off while being hard ridden. If this is your idea of a " huge " performance then I guess there is nothing to talk about.
Truthfully, Master Command ran a better race when fourth, beaten 10 lengths, to Buzzard's Bay at Oaklawn.
