The fact that they are in game 7 vs the defending champs with their 3rd string goalie is pretty miraculous. Caps fans have to be pleased with the performance regardless of the outcome here.

i am very happy with how things have turned out all things considered. fire a coach and hire another, injuries throughout the season-especially to nick and green-really didn't help. and now late with the goalie situation. holtby has been simply amazing in this series. the caps ought to be proud of how they've done.
but it'll still be a bitter pill to swallow if they don't advance with all the high hopes at the seasons' start.
