What really struck me hardest was the biggest tragedy we saw this year, Prado, Matz and Barbaro be later reversed 5 months later while Prado looked onto the scene of Castellano and Pine Island. Fate twists in so many ways. I'll miss Pine Island, she was very beautiful in her own special way.
The greatest moment for me was Invasor winning. I dreamed of Bernardini leaving us all in awe, but the underappreciated horse will hopefully now be thought of as "the best" by more people than Kenny Mayne. I greatly admire Kiaran McLaughlin for all he has overcome. (and I really hope he will be back next year with Jazil Superstar!
