Default Whobetterthanus

Very impressive debut winner at Oaklawn today. She broke like an absolute quarter horse -- and won going away late.

The amazing thing about this filly is how insanely cheaply she sold at auction given her pedigree and the amount of speed she showed in the under-tack work.

Her dam Kumari Continent was the post time favorite in the Kentucky Oaks the year Secret Status won it. She also won the Gr 2 Hollywood Oaks at 9fs later in the year.

Whobetterthanus worked an 1/8th in joint sales fastest 10.20 at the Fasig Tipton TIM 2yo sale.

The dam was a post time Ky Oaks favorite and a router, the filly worked a bullet in the under-tack show, and she only sold for 52K!! She's got to be one horribly looking horse with poor confirmation.

Whobetterthanus, like Zenyatta, is out of a Kris S. mare. There's no Street Cry on the top of her pedigree but it could be fun to see if she can stretch out.

Whobetterthanus's final time of 1:10.41 was 0.74 seconds faster than an Opt45K/N2X Alw race for older males (88 Beyer par for that class level) at the same distance two races earlier.
