The audience rudeness at televised political debates is a very recent thing. Most adults used to know that if they were invited to sit in the audience to watch a political debate live, it wasn't about them.
And Newt demonstrated last night his inability to respond live to attacks and accusations. The only thing Newt does is blow dog whistles and lecture. Newt has been in government for 40 years. He's nothing new, and we've seen his complete bag of tricks 20 years ago. The sudden infatuation with Newt is laughable, especially by the Tea Party. Newt is the consummate Washington insider lobbyist, making his money off influence peddling. His taking credit for Clinton's accomplishments just gets better and better as Newt gets more and more grandiose in his claims.
