Let's take a look at how "journalists" have handled the situation at NYRA. They understandably took the hard line with takeout fiasco and NYRA responded in kind. What exactly should someone like Andy say about the racing on air? Those of us that follow NYRA on a regular basis are well aware that the caliber of horses that have stayed up north is better this year. The majority of the people who question the quality of racing at this year's meet have not been playing the inner track on a regular basis.
I can't speak to what the live experience at Aqueduct is like as I have not been there, but some of what you've said is a little difficult to understand.

Less empty space and while the food court is down the stretch at least if you want you can grab something decent. It's Ozone park in the dead winter hardly Saratoga or Delmar. It is what it is, a place built during the glory days that is not suitable for the todays market. That doesn't mean the pleyer is worse off if so how so because the purses went up or because 1000 people playing Pai Gow is a bother?
