It's already been suggested by Cajungator,,,but I cannot emphasize enough about going to a chiro. I've taken a lot of falls over the last 20 years. Some my bad,, some due to the horses I like riding. I like sensitive, forward horses,,,,who are often also spooky and hot. A couple years ago I came off a young horse I was schooling. Landed pretty hard( took out a section of wood fence on my way down! LOL!!), but thought I was okay. Even went to work that afternoon. Weeks later I began having some back pain and sciatic issues. Went to the chiro, got x-rayed,,,,turns out I had a double compression fracture in my lower back. I would seriously suggest going to a chiro. Also, rotate ice and heat where you hurt. Rest and give yourself time to heal. Take mega-doses of Vitamin C. If you feel better in a week or so,,try doing some yoga or pilates type exercises to stretch and strengthen your core muscles. And don't worry about it. Shiat happens when you're riding horses. Its not a question of *if* you're going to come off,,,but a question of *when*, *how much* and *how hard*!!! And it always makes for a great story!!!
Take care,
Suzanne(got quite a few great wreck stories!!!)
