RACE 11
Classy stayer Lizarre (9) may have pulled out all stops to land the Mandai Classic Stakes two weeks ago, but it was not a true run race. Can stay all day and will be the one to run down. Speed Baby (2) turned in the eye-catching run in the Raffles Cup. Untested over 2,200m, but on that run, it looks like the extra 400m will suit him down to the ground. Clint (4) was a shade disappointing in the Raffles Cup but he is looking for the trip and when many will drop off, he will be still there fighting out the finish. Last year’s winner Risky Business’ (3) form has tapered off of late but on this distance, he must be rated a chance.
