yeah, just read about it on drf. all things considered, i think churchill was unreasonable about it. rain didn't last long, dogs out, etc. at least let the bc'ers train on it.

For what it's worth, the explanation I heard was that the G2 Commonwealth was scheduled to be run in lane 3 (22 ft) yesterday to preserve the hedge for Fri / Sat - which would have put the workouts directly on the race surface.
