I think he's a pure distance horse -- I would certainly play against him in the BC dirt mile this year. I don't think he's naturally fast enough to prefer a one-turn mile compared to a two-turn route.

I don't know why this is not obvious to more people.

And I disagree with that last part. He didn't look like a miler to me the other day, and he never has.
