Why?
The more I've thought about that race, the more I think that as probably the best ride of Naks life. Which is saying next to nothing.
People can say the move was premature.
You can also say there was no way he could sustain such a prolonged run.
I disagree with both. Not only for the reason(s) I said the other day, but also, looking back, I don't think JB did falter, or fail to sustain his run.
The top two both flew home and JB had something like 7.5 lengths between him and the show horse.
How could the horse possibly have run any better than he did??
I think it was more illusion than anything else, when it comes to JB apparently flattening out, or whatever term people think.
