the walk to the top of kennesaw was a chore, but the views made it worthwhile...tony, however, might disagree! atlanta was 26 miles away, but those buildings were easily seen. can't imagine making that climb in midsummer while clad in wool jacket and pants, carrying a pack, musket, etc.
ate dinner in macon, headed to savannah. spent too long at kennesaw to make andersonville.
