Great post -- I can completely relate to it.
I enjoy seeing a horse outrun his reputation, show a totally unexpected turn of foot, or return to the winner's circle when most thought that he/she was past his/her prime. Even when I don't get to cash a ticket on them. If one is a fan of the equine athlete -- how could one
not get a charge out of it?
