The races being on dirt basically negate European participation and the 2YO 6f races from days gone by have been phased out (Cowdin, and the filly one). Trainers won't be in a hurry to cut 2YOs back for a purse that's the same as the Breeders' Futurity and only slightly more than the Champagne.
