I also think its pretty apparent that there must be more to this than meets the eye. Gann has had more success than any owner in racing on a dollars and cents level. He didn't pay a million bucks for Medaglia, Peace, and You COMBINED!!!
Something of a personal nature, I suspect, caused this split. It obviously wasn't a performance issue.
