Don't forget that aside from the polytrack, the turns were changed and other elements as well. The turns are now symmetrical. There is quite a bit at play here, with the track being a huge factor, I think there will be changes as time goes on. I think there is a learning curve here -- for handicappers, trainers, jocks, etc. Anomalies, extremes, etc. are distored early in the life cycle.
In addition, having not followed the meet religiously, I would be interested in analyzing the "speed" as it relates to splits, times, fractions. I think that will change over time and can also take away from the new bias that exists.
