You obviously got it.
The sarcasm was intended for those who actually would get worked up enough to say "SEE!! Speed is just fine there!!"
And no doubt someone will appear here later who will argue just that.
It was sarcasm aimed at those who will argue a point about a situation by attempting to use the "outlier" or "abberational result" to try and prove a point rather than focusing on the overwhelming body of data.
I guess the topic of the thread alone proves that though.
Can you imagine anyone posting that "belmont has a wire job today!!!" or "Santa anita has a wire job today!!!" and being serious? Thats the irony.
