Just because a prospective name entered into the online registry doesn't have a direct match DOESN'T mean it gets approved. People that have named horses will tell you it's a frustrating process. Both the JoBurg and Rockport had repeated declines. There are any number of reasons a name gets turned down, and as a perfect example, every one that had a South African/Afrikaans word involved in it, was rejected. Getting submissions in before Feb. 1 was the priority, and I always throw in an obscure word (Rampillion was one) to gaurantee a stop to the process. Just like Harold Carmichael was a working name for Lloydobler, Spondulix and Corybant can be temporary names until something more universally loved comes through.
