You got the full and complete story. From the time I took Rosario in Oct. 2008 until Tyler's injury this past July I had three days off. Those were spent in the hospital. Since then I rediscovered fun and joy in my life. I feel physically great. My relationship with my wife and step-daughter is terrific again.
In retrospect I just don't think I had the right makeup for agenting. Maybe just a bit too OC. There's really no end to how many hours you can put into it. You can beat the books and the barns and phones 8 hours a day five days a week. Or 14 hours a day 7 days a week. I was the latter and it took it's toll. I knew I had to change but never could.
I made ALOT of money.$*** from Rosario alone in 2009 but I never found time to enjoy it. I sure make alot less now but my quality of life is 1000% better. Tomorrow is promised to nobody. There are lots of miserable rich guys out there. I refuse to become one of them.
Thanks to all of you for the well wishes.
Happy Holidays

Freddy. You must remember that being an agent was my second job. Unless they throw me out on the street I'm NEVER EVER giving up being announcer. Between the two I felt I had too much on my plate. As for the day to day interworkings of having a top rider I'd be happy to answer any questions you have as long as it doesn't betray a confidence or hurt anybody.
