Problem with PP's is that you don't get the context of the race. As flawed as the results charts are (accuracy is of secondary importance to speed in making them) they, at least, give you a context. (Personally, I like to have an idea as to the
TYPE of race a horse is coming out of.) Which means, you can MODEL from the charts. Which means you can pretty much do any of the things you do with figures with them. But they're FREE and why would anyone want to rely on them when they can pay for someone else's data and get to use all those cool tools that probably come with it? And, get to be part of a group (for no added charge).
Don't let Dave Schwartz in on any of this.
