Defensively they played well, as far as stopping the Jets strength which is running the ball. Bottom line is that I think the Ravens are a very good team and good teams find to win a game like that tonight (let alone on the road). As far as the Jets go, I still believe (just like on their playoff run) that they could go as far as Sanchez can take them. But offensively they stunk tonight.

I saw a lot of "experts" talking about the Ravens having a big shot at making the Super Bowl. Their offense was vastly improved, etc. By no means am I'm blaiming the refs, because the Ravens absolutely made more plays than the Jets did tonight. But as you said it did seem like every call went their way.
Either way, I don't want to jump the gun on anyone because it's week one. But if both teams don't improve they will be watching the playoffs from home.
