Not bad at all. I finished a few spots ahead with a bankroll of $802.
There were 49 contest days, so at $18 per day, that works out to $882 "bet" over the duration of the contest. Considering that selections were made well in advance of the races (often before scratches came out), that win-place-show is not a good bet over the long haul, and that the contest races were selected for us, I would say we did pretty good keeping our losses under $100.
