Lets, see how the Yanks score shall we.
Jeter - homebred - triples and scores on wildpitch in the 6th
The 7th
Cano - homebred - doubles
Kearns - making ML minimum after signing Minor League contracts - singles - received in trade
Berkman - Yanks received money in trade (basically to buy out his option for next year) Ground rule double, scores Cano
Gardner - homebred - singles - Kearns scores
The 8th -
Thames - homebred then trade to Texas for Ruben Sierra - signs 2.27 million for the year - Homers
The 9th -
Berkman walked. Pitch ran by worthless traded player
Gardner - homebred singles
Jeter - homebred singles and scores worthless traded player.
Thames - (won't detail him again) singles and scores Gardner
Where's the money buy players (Teix on leave), AROD?
Vazquez pitched like crap and has now face the fact he doesn't have a fastball anymore. Mitre a little reliever and Kerry Wood
Mariano is a homebred who signed a Amatuer Free agent deal and didn't debut for 6 years.
Neftali is going to be a really good one. Became a closer after a half of season in the Majors. He's bred to be the man
Best money can buy? How are the Cubs doing with a High Payroll? Hey they're the Cubs. How about the Mets? $120 million next year just for 6 players alone. (I'm sure they are hoping somebody would claim Oliver Perez)
By the way I'll take Matt Kemp if you only want a bag of balls. I can see the future. Signs for 15-20 million with the Yanks, and Scuds would say, "see those whores continues to cheat."
I love it sometimes when Scuds rants, he's just illogical (Velez, Broxton, Kershaw), but lately its gotten a little tiresome, and you just have to respond with "GO GIANTS!"
