You might be right--and Steve might be right that she wasn't getting to the winner-but I'm so sick of betting horses who end up getting stuck inside. I'm all for saving ground--obviously I strongly prefer it. But a rider needs to have an exit strategy and the ability to carry out that strategy if he's going to take an inside path. Staying glued to the rail and just hoping that you'll magically get an opening doesn't work.
