I haven't watched the Regret; and I won't. It's a particular 'type' of race that never yields predictable betback results. (It's similar to the way that all the cyclists that finish with the peloton get the same final time for the race.) I do know, however, that the winner is not a horse I want back. From the looks of the chart, there's really nothing that Albarado could have done (in the conventional sense that almost all jocks ride) to win that race --- he was going to get gobbled up by the flow inevitably.

you can get a good feel of the race just from the chart, better than watching? i guess based on what the chartcaller put that the winner was simply the beneficiary of a very good trip? interesting.
