Both connections are selfish and have hurt the sport more than helped it. It's absolutely embarrassing that two of the best horses in training have pansies for owners.

Remember when a horse's greatness was defined by winning great races instead of trying to inflate and protect won/loss records? Its even made worse in today's age because you only have so many chances to race. If you use those opportunities on bad races, you end up trying to define a career with a handful of races.
