The BART cop pulled his trigger once, that tells me he didn't think he had his firearm in his hand - ALL cops will tap twice or more when they shoot, that's more than training, you do that without even thinking. It's obvious he didn't mean to fire a round into the guys back, look at his reaction, he knew when he heard the pop that he made a mistake. It was an ACCIDENT. The BART cop just made a really huge life altering mistake.
Rioting isn't the proper response to this. Teaching your children to resect others, not just cops but everyone, is the correct response.

How retarded of a cop do you have to be to mistake a tazer for a gun? For that to happen, you have to 1.) F ucking forget which holster is which, 2.) Forget the ways a gun feels differently from a tazer and 3.) Forget that you're not supposed to use either on a dude who's lying motherf ucking PRONE on the ground in handcuffs. I saw the video, the guy he shot was lying face down, completely subdued. And there wasn't exactly much surprise/remorse shown by the cops after the shot was fired. They kept going about their business. People were yelling at him? He was stressed, you say??? OH NOES, YOU'D BETTER SHOOT THE GUY WHO'S ALREADY IN CUFFS AND ON THE GROUND. That'll fix things.
Cops all over the country get away with bullshit like this and never get punished because the apologists always pull out the "HAVE YOU BEEN IN THAT SITUATION?!" defense. Either that or they blame the victim. Neither is a justification for the gross misconduct that continues to go on with these idiots killing/injuring defenseless people.
