I've always been really fond of Kip, and it's hard not to well up thinking about how sneaky and underhanded laminitis is, to take horses like this away from us. We gotta beat this thing.
Add Affirmed to the list of horses euthanized as a result of laminitis. He had a dislocated joint that was repaired only for the insidious disease to set in.
