Black-eyed Susans
Okay, those flowers were a staple of my childhood and I remember them fondly. It's always a bit of a bummer to realize they aren't in the actual wreath at the Preakness. Is there a reason Pimlico can't trick a bunch of Black Eyed Susans in a hot house? I'm not all over plant growing, but there's gotta be a way to get some into blooming shape for mid-May. You can have the standard Daisies as a back up. Anybody know why that's not possible?
