Do I compare him to another horse? Well no, that's the point, each horse should be judged on their own merit when it comes to racing with less time between races. Some need it. As for Sir Barton's quality, he was a maiden entered to be a rabbit for a stablemate, so let's not get all high and mighty about why he was entered or that he became a TC winner. He didn't start that way and he wasn't any more a somebody than Pleasant Prince when he got into the gate. SB showed promise in hindsight, and, but for a nose, PP would've won the G1 Florida Derby.
