But, the Dems in power don't want a Fair Tax because they won't be able to control how much tax people choose to pay. The Healthcare program has nothing to do with healthcare. It's all about control and everything that Obama is proposing "for the good of the American people" is all about control.

Boortz- yes, I like this guy a lot. Of all the numnuts on the radio spewing their wacky views he's one of the few I feel aligned with on just about every issue. I know about the Fair Tax plan and think it's a great idea... which will never pass. I drew a blank because it was 5 years ago when I last heard about it...
But Doreen, to blame it on Dems is FACTUALLY INCORRECT. The bill was introduced in 2005 to the 109th Congress... which was a REPUBLICAN MAJORITY in both houses, and was voted down.
