Very well might have. Problem was, at least for me, taking Legal Blonde out of the play in favor of Sh Sh Shakin. Keeping Legal Blonde an "A" or even a "B" means that there is a chance the Gutierrez nightcap winner might show up on a successful backup play. But as TitanSooner's winning play in the $2k contest showed, you needed to be very well covered in several spots besides the 3rd and 8th to win this thing. The 6th, with Lucky Primo, Norvey, Tamarack Smarty, et al, was treacherous, as was the 4th with Van Brit, Sleep Tight, Victoria Reel, etc. When you look at it afterwards, you think to yourself, "There was only the one tough horse (8th) to have for $42k", but it was a slippery sequence...
