Dumbarton Rock did a steady 1,200m gallop on Monday and has done plenty of pace work. He looks an absolute treat. Really Happy's last two steady 800m gallops confirmed he is back to his old self. Best Friend is slowly coming back to form and he showed it when lengthening nicely five days ago over 800m. Fat Choy Ichiban hit the line strongly at the end of his 1,200m workout last Thursday - going better than his workmates - and also had a slick 800m blow-out with speedy Our Lucky Baby on Monday. Ambitious General is a star worker. He trialled superbly over this course on February 20 and did a sparkling gate jump out 13 days ago with Native Kid (400m in 21.7).
