Black Bear Island.

In his first out he was 2nd (Sea the Stars was 4th). He beat some other really nice horses home... horses like Crowded House, Native Ruler and Kite Wood. He had won the Dante and was, of course, 2nd in the Secretariat.

A real shame.

Rest in peace, good boy.
