NJ aint winning no 2-1 games this year, Marty's GAA is up, he's been shaky ever since game 7 last year, his puckhandling skills got him into trouble last game and i think its the right move if canada wants to continue playing in this tourney. as far as the caps go, Dale Hunter was my all time favorite cap. and goalies, who can forget jim carey, bill ranford, hated pete peeters, mike liut, but i think my favorite was Don Beaupre. some of the all time cap greats, gartner, ridley, miller, bonzi, stevens, pivonko, gustafsson, galley, as you can see i'm a huge caps fan  |
did you see that the caps selected bengt gustaffsons boy in the draft last fall? hard to believe he's old enough to have a son old enough to play!! i remember michael pivonka...beaupre. hell, i still call it the cap center-and it's not even the same place anymore, let alone called the cap center.
so nice to have others who remember those guys. no one i know down here does. seems the only person i can really talk hockey with about back then is my dad. remember clint malarchuk? he got traded away and then had that ghastly accident on the ice. ugh
